Engineering Technician
for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
New Berlin, WI
. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay is $41.10/hr to start!!
- 1 year assignment with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday (100% Onsite)
- Support design engineers with development activities, including component evaluation, prototype assembly, and product verification testing.
- Execute product and prototype testing in accordance with approved test specifications, standards, and procedures; analyze results to confirm compliance with performance requirements.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate and complete test reports, data records, and documentation.
- Perform safety and EMC certification testing in accordance with UL, CSA, and IEC standards and generate formal reports for submission to third-party certification agencies.
- HS Diploma/ GED is required!! (A.S degree preferred!)
- Hands on experience of variable frequency drive (VFD) design and operation.
- Hands-on experience performing UL, CSA, and IEC compliance testing, particularly for drive (VFD) products preferred.
- Proficiency in operating laboratory test equipment to obtain accurate measurements and interpret results effectively.
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
