Test Technician

Our client, a Electrical/Electronic Engineering Product Development Organization is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the Test Engineering Department supporting Design Engineering and Certification Teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent documentation abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:*
* $41.38/hr.

** What's the Job?*
* +  
** Execute product and prototype testing
** in accordance with approved test specifications, standards, and procedures.

+  
** Support design engineers
** with component evaluations, prototype assembly, and verification activities.

+  
** Prepare and maintain test reports** , data records, and documentation with accuracy and completeness.

+  
** Perform safety and EMC certification testing
** aligned with UL, CSA, and IEC standards.

+  
** Design and maintain test setups and fixtures
** including mechanical construction and electrical wiring.

** What's Needed?*
* +  
** Hands-on UL, CSA, and IEC compliance testing experience** , especially for VFD products.

+  
** Working knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs)
** and their operation.

+  
** Proficiency with laboratory test equipment**  (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power meters, etc.).

** Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree** :

+ Associate degree + 5 years experience  
** or*
* + Bachelor's degree + 2 years experience

+  
** Proficiency in Microsoft Office
** for reporting and documentation.
