Engineering Technician

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Engineering Technician for a prominent client. This position is located in New Berlin, WI
.

• Pay is $41.10/hr to start!!
• 1 year assignment with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday (100% Onsite)
• Support design engineers with development activities, including component evaluation, prototype assembly, and product verification testing.
• Execute product and prototype testing in accordance with approved test specifications, standards, and procedures; analyze results to confirm compliance with performance requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate and complete test reports, data records, and documentation.
• Perform safety and EMC certification testing in accordance with UL, CSA, and IEC standards and generate formal reports for submission to third‑party certification agencies.

• HS Diploma/ GED is required!! (A.S. degree preferred!)
• Hands‑on experience in variable frequency drive (VFD) design and operation.
• Hands‑on experience performing UL, CSA, and IEC compliance testing, particularly for drive (VFD) products preferred.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory test equipment to obtain accurate measurements and interpret results effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
