Job Description Key Position Activities
- Work safely and courteously, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Use product, design, material, and manufacturing experience to provide the conceptualization and design of custom engineered products, or improvements to existing designs, by applying engineering principles and utilizing CAD software.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Manufacturing, R&D, QA, Operations) to ensure designs align with customer and production requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, BOM, and technical documentation necessary for prototyping, manufacturing, and testing phases.
- Perform analysis to validate design concepts, identify potential issues, and optimize designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams during production, troubleshooting design‑related issues, and implementing necessary corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
- Proven record of stable work history and exemplary attendance.
- Proven engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.
- Proficiency with ERP system functions required for Engineering processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with engineering software and systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software to maintain accurate records.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- 5+ years of Design Engineering experience.
