Design Engineer II-WI Berlin

Job Description Key Position Activities

• Work safely and courteously, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
• Use product, design, material, and manufacturing experience to provide the conceptualization and design of custom engineered products, or improvements to existing designs, by applying engineering principles and utilizing CAD software.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Manufacturing, R&D, QA, Operations) to ensure designs align with customer and production requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, BOM, and technical documentation necessary for prototyping, manufacturing, and testing phases.
• Perform analysis to validate design concepts, identify potential issues, and optimize designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams during production, troubleshooting design‑related issues, and implementing necessary corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Proven record of stable work history and exemplary attendance.
• Proven engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.
• Proficiency with ERP system functions required for Engineering processes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with engineering software and systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software to maintain accurate records.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• 5+ years of Design Engineering experience.
