Electrical Project Engineer
Responsibilities
+ Read, interpret, design, and mark up electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, panel layouts, interconnect diagrams, and conduit drawings released by engineering.
+ Design and verify electrical systems for crane models and related equipment based on customer specifications and applicable electrical codes.
+ Apply internal electrical design standards and UL508A requirements when designing panel layouts, including component selection, wiring sizing, routing, and custom enclosure sizing.
+ Design and review control panels and layouts to ensure safe, reliable, and maintainable operation in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
+ Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to validate system performance and compliance with specifications.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design and control issues during FAT, SAT, and in the field by working closely with other engineers and service technicians.
+ Use AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools to create and update electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
+ Program, configure, or support configuration of PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs, including ladder logic and related control strategies, as required for project needs.
+ Collaborate with controls engineering teams to integrate Siemens and Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) PLC and HMI platforms into complete control systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69/hr.
