This role is responsible for conducting on-site investigations of quality issues, gathering comprehensive field environment data, and actively participating in technical root-cause investigations by providing first-hand observations of equipment condition and operating environment.

Hybrid, New Berlin, WI.
Your role and responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site investigations of reported quality and reliability issues on LV and MV solar and wind power converters at customer facilities and energy farm sites.
* Gather comprehensive field data including operating conditions, environmental factors, installation parameters, fault logs, waveforms, and physical condition of equipment.
* Provide the engineering and quality teams with a clear, factual account of what is observed in the equipment and its operating environment (e.g., thermal patterns, vibration signatures, environmental stressors, site-specific anomalies)
* Support large-scale repower projects and new product introductions by capturing field reliability data on LV and MV inverters.

* Demonstrated experience in field troubleshooting, failure analysis, or quality investigation of power electronic equipment.
* Experience with electronics & quality.
* This role requires 10% travel & requires a valid US driver's license
* Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
