Household Moving Packer; Part -time

Join Schroeder Moving as a Part-Time Packer! (10-15 hrs/week)

Ready to stay active, work with a fun crew, and help people through one of life’s biggest moments? Schroeder Moving Systems is looking for energetic, detail-loving Packers to join our team - and we think you might be the perfect fit.

As a Packer, you'll be hands‑on at customers' homes and businesses, carefully preparing household goods and materials for safe transport. No experience? No problem. We'll train you so you feel confident, capable, and ready to shine.

• Competitive pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour (based on experience)

• Wrapping and packing fragile and non-fragile items
• Inspecting materials and containers throughout the packing process
• Recording container counts, weights, and packaging details
• Collecting packing materials and keeping equipment clean
• Helping create smooth, stress‑free moves for our customers

• Strong communication, organization, and basic math skills
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
• Experience with inventory, equipment care, or data entry is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and deliver excellent customer service
• Comfortable lifting 10-50 lbs and being on your feet
• Able to read maps and solve everyday problems with confidence

• No fixed daily schedule - shifts vary based on need
• Typical start times: 7:00-9:00 AM
• Must be available for full 8-hour shifts on scheduled days
• Work may involve standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and varying temperatures
• Background check and drug testing required
