Intake Specialist

About the Role

Our Enteral Department is seeking a Temporary Intake Specialist to support a high volume of incoming orders and ensure timely, accurate processing. This role plays an important part in maintaining smooth operations and delivering exceptional service to patients during a period of increased workload.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a positive patient experience while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

+ Communicate with patients to understand and confirm their enteral supply needs.

+ Answer inbound phone calls and provide responsive, patient-focused support.

+ Contact patients to coordinate and process supply reorders.

+ Assist with order intake, documentation, and workflow management to ensure timely processing.

+ Maintain accurate patient and order records.

+ Follow department procedures to support compliance, quality, and service standards.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order processing and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

+ Strong verbal communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

+ Ability to manage a high volume of calls and tasks with accuracy and professionalism.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities.

+ Experience in healthcare, customer service, call center, or order processing environments preferred.

+ Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
