This position reports to the VP, Business Services Underwriting. Underwrites new business loan requests, renewals, and annual reviews, which includes the preparation of the appropriate credit analysis and risk rating package. Reviews collateral documents to include: appraisals, title policies, environmental reports, surveys, leases and construction contracts.
REQUIREMENTS- 1. Bachelor's degree in business or related field and a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in business/commercial credit analysis. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 2. Must have strong financial and credit analysis skills as well as a detailed understanding of business credit documentation and business collateral documents.
- 3. Experience in software or systems used for credit analysis, and deposit and loan products.
- 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently as a valuable team member in a dynamic environment.
- 5. Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- 6. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job‑related state and federal laws and regulations.
