Our client is an organization in the New Berlin area looking for a Plant Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of related experience, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is $120k-170k +bonus.
The Plant Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all plant-level financial processes, including general ledger maintenance, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Execute month-end closing activities.
- Develop and evaluate financial models and business cases to support capital investments, cost reduction initiatives, and operational projects.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analyses, and performance reports for management review.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.
- Partner with procurement and continuous improvement teams to track financial impact from savings projects and process enhancements.
- Support audit activities by providing accurate documentation and maintaining integrity in all financial records.
- Manage the development of annual operating and capital budgets, consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders and presenting recommendations to leadership.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling to support data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering skill development and accountability.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards, manufacturing trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, helping to streamline financial processes and strengthen performance management systems.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field required.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
