Job MissionSystems Engineers at SWICKtech are experienced passionate technical geniuses. You will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end solutions for complex business network, communication, and application problems for new and existing clients based on existing company best practices and standards.
Outcomes Implementation Engineering- Protect client data while carrying out all aspects of job.
- 3+ years’ experience as an IT professional, working hands-on in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft infrastructure solutions (AD DS, GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS-N, File, Print, RDS) with a demonstrated increase in responsibility over time.
- Support on premise to cloud integrations with a general understanding of how business data is transforming to cloud-first.
- Experience with one or more of the following preferred:
Exchange, SQL Server, IIS, Remote Desktop Service Roles. - Ability to obtain and maintain both pre- and post-sales Microsoft certifications.
- Implement 2-6 node clusters with shared storage or hyper-converged using Microsoft or VMware technologies (Hyper-V, ESXi)
- Regularly assist Account managers with the development of qualified opportunities through remote and on-site client meetings.
- Develop project documentation including bills of material, service estimates, statements of work, high-level project plans, architecture designs, and operational training material.
- Act as third-level escalation, providing polished leadership and advanced technical guidance to other technical analysts solving service ticket issues.
- Thoroughly document technical systems and log work performed to greatly improve support
- Exceptional customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong desire to help our clients succeed with technology.
- Outstanding processional communication skills: written, telephone and face-to-face.
- 3+ years of professional, technical experience in Information Technology or an equivalent in degree earned.
- Experience administering or using the Microsoft Technology Stack:
Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Exchange, et al. - Experience administering Microsoft network environments:
Windows Server, file and printer sharing, Active Directory, GPO/GPP, DNS, DHCP, DFS-N and Exchange. - Well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude.
- Demonstrate extreme ownership of assigned work and issues.
- Demonstrate compassion for client outcomes as a result of the work you perform
- Secure systems design/application of secure baselines such as DISA STIGs, MS SCT, CIS, etc.
- Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting RDSH deployments for 10-400 user environments.
- Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting WVD deployments for 5-50 user environments.
- Demonstrate a high level of independent judgment and initiative; self-starter.
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend shift work as needed.
- Experience working with environments that must meet compliance requirements: PCI-DSS, HIPPA, FINRA, SOX, DFARS/CMMC, ITAR, etc
- A valid Wisconsin driver's license, a good driving record, and proof of insurance.
- Pass a thorough background check.
