Warehouse Associate - Order Picker Second Shift

Essential Job Duties

• Preparing customer orders for shipment – picking and packing
• Other duties as assigned

• Microsoft/Windows based-Word;
  Excel; UPS World Ship or similar shipping experience; USPS shipping applications;
  Prophet 21;
  Fed Ex shipping;
  Engineering Manual is online, so familiarity with internet navigation is needed; communication with internal customers via email/instant messaging is used. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one or two years’ related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Team-lifting recommended for weights exceeding 50 lbs.
