Manufacturing facilities are located in New Berlin, Wisconsin and Wabash, Indiana with a third facility located Suzhou, China to handle the needs of the Asian market.

Job Description

The Material Handling Mechanical/Electrical Technician position is the key liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering, and will be responsible for, but not limited to, technical support to Material Handling team, mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical/electrical components.

Responsibilities
  • Third in command over Material Handling Department
  • Shift kick off auditor and coordinator
  • Confer and collaborate with all support departments
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Perform training for mechanical assemblers
  • Oversees and performs predictive, preventative and corrective measures on assembled equipment
  • Write ECR and DMRs
  • QC verification and sign off
  • Perform assemble functions as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Industrial Technology and/or 5+ years’ experience of related experience
  • 5 years of mechanical/electrical assembly and test experience in production
  • 3 years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components
  • Ability to influence and lead teams
  • Positive attitude; able to handle stressful situation and somewhat ambiguous instructions
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing, ever-changing priorities
