The ideal candidate will have an interest in or past experience working in a manufacturing environment and enjoys working as part of team to get things done.
Machine Operation- Set-up and production of various punching, rolling and welding machines to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Identify the proper hanging and stacking pattern for each order
- Work with up to four (4) cell operators and a Team Leader to set-up the line and to hang, take off, and stack finished parts.
- Follow prescribed operation sequence and assist the team in completion of all daily activities.
- Follow standard work instructions, including performing quality checks.
- Perform visual inspections to maintain quality standards
- Perform all operations within the cell and be interchangeable with other cell operators.
- Perform routine cleaning (i.e. dispose of scrap, wipe-down press and sweep area, etc.).
- Meet the attendance standards as state in the company attendance policy.
- The ability to lift twenty (20) to fifty-five (55) pounds for up to eight (8) hours per day.
- The ability to bend and lift twenty (20) to fifty-five (55) pounds between floor level and a height of six feet six inches (6 6 ).
- The ability to pull or push up to 1100 pounds with motorized pallet jack.
- The ability to stand and walk on concrete for up to eight (8) hours per day.
- The ability to work in typical Wisconsin levels of heat and humidity.
- Manual Dexterity:
The ability to use hands to manipulate objects (i.e. set stops, etc.). - Quality Assurance:
The ability to perform visual inspection of welds and surface condition to ensure quality standards.
- Language
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret routine correspondence (i.e. job routings, warnings, etc.). Ability to write and record information. Ability to communicate with co-workers and understand oral instructions. - Reasoning
Skills:
Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions. - Mathematical
