Location:

New Berlin, WI

Shift: Day Shift: 6:50 AM–7:00 PM | Night Shift: 6:50 PM–7:00 AM

Compensation: $22.00–$37.00 per hour

Compensation Based On Experience

The hourly pay range for this position is $22.00–$37.00 per hour, based on the candidate’s level of hands‑on machine operation and troubleshooting experience.

  • $22.00–$24.00/hour:
    Machine Operator with solid manufacturing experience and light troubleshooting exposure.
  • $25.00–$30.00/hour:
    Candidate with direct injection molding machine operation experience plus basic troubleshooting skills.
  • $30.00–$37.00/hour:
    Candidate with advanced troubleshooting experience specifically related to injection molding equipment, including stronger mechanical and/or electrical diagnostic capabilities.
Schedule

Alternating 3–4 day workweek – every other weekend is a 4‑day weekend!

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $22.00 – $37.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

The Role

Eastridge is partnering with an established manufacturing organization in the New Berlin, Wisconsin area to hire a Machine Technician. This position supports manufacturing operations through equipment operation, troubleshooting, adjustments, and routine maintenance.

This opportunity may be a strong fit for mechanically inclined machine operators or technicians interested in developing broader troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities within a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Operate molding and related production equipment while maintaining required product specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machinery to support consistent production and equipment performance.
  • Perform routine and reactive equipment maintenance to improve uptime and productivity.
  • Operate auxiliary equipment associated with the manufacturing process.
  • Follow established safety procedures and demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑maintained work area.
  • Follow applicable Good Manufacturing Practices, food‑safety requirements, and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of technical processing, machine operation, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort operating industrial machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and productively with limited supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to provide a basic set of personal tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to approximately 30 pounds.
  • Ability to work in varying manufacturing temperatures.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using tablets or mobile applications in a manufacturing environment.
  • Direct injection molding or plastics‑processing experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
Compensation Considerations

Compensation within the posted range will depend on the candidate’s experience and technical capability.

Candidates toward the lower end of the range may have solid machine‑operation experience and good job tenure.

Candidates in the middle of the range may bring stronger troubleshooting skills and direct molding or processing experience.

Candidates toward the top of the range would generally bring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting or maintenance experience along with stable work history.
