Brake Press Operator
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC and/or manual press brake equipment to fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools.
- Perform machine adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Monitor production runs and identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous press brake operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand manufacturing specifications.
- Experience using measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
