, you will join our manufacturing team, where innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement drive operational excellence. This is an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a production environment while supporting equipment performance and manufacturing operations. You'll work on real‑world projects involving equipment investigations, mechanical troubleshooting, technical documentation, and engineering analysis while learning how manufacturing systems support the future of biotechnology.

As a Manufacturing Operations Intern
, you will work alongside manufacturing engineers, maintenance teams, and production personnel to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. You will gain exposure to manufacturing processes while helping identify solutions that improve operational performance and equipment effectiveness.

• Support investigations related to equipment performance, reliability, and manufacturing process improvements.
• Review equipment drawings, manuals, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Assist with identifying replacement parts, equipment specifications, and component compatibility.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities for equipment‑related issues.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams to improve manufacturing performance.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Develop and update technical documentation, procedures, reports, and equipment records.
• Present project findings, recommendations, and outcomes to site leadership when applicable.

We are looking for students who are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Engineering Technology
• Or a related technical discipline

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing processes, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing project responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Sophomore standing or higher at the time of application.
• Ability to arrange your own housing and transportation.
