Location:
New Berlin, WIJob Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Higher pay may be available based on experience)
Schedule Options:5:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Thursday8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday Essential Responsibilities Perform quality inspections and standardized testing on in-process and finished food products.
Evaluate product characteristics including appearance, size, color, texture, and flavor.
Conduct flavor analysis, including tasting products that may contain allergens.
Verify proper operation of metal detectors and report any equipment issues.
Collect retention, microbiological, environmental, and control samples.
Prepare microbiological samples and associated documentation for laboratory testing.
Review and approve product labels prior to production runs.
Place products on hold when necessary and assist with quality investigations.
Complete daily quality records and documentation accurately.
Analyze quality data and identify trends or potential quality concerns.
Assist in resolving manufacturing issues that impact product quality.
Participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional quality initiatives.
Ensure compliance with GMPs, SQF standards, food safety programs, sanitation requirements, and company policies.
Report food safety or quality deficiencies as appropriate.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred2 years of college education and 1-2 years of quality control experience.
OrHigh School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years of related quality, food manufacturing, or production experience.
