This is a hands‑on quality role for someone who enjoys working directly with manufacturing teams and cross‑functional partners to solve problems, improve processes, and ensure products consistently meet customer and industry requirements. You’ll support our Quality Management System, conduct audits and inspections, investigate quality issues, maintain critical quality documentation, and help drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation.

You’ll also serve as an important technical resource for quality standards and processes, helping employees understand requirements and building a culture in which quality is part of how work gets done every day.

This is a full‑time, onsite position based at Cable Master's New Berlin, Wisconsin facility.
No travel is required.

Location Address: 5349 S Emmer Drive, New Berlin, WI 53151

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with the Quality Manager to maintain and continually improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with customer requirements, applicable industry standards, and internal quality expectations.

  • Conduct and support internal and external quality audits, identify nonconformance gaps, document findings, and help drive corrective and preventive actions through resolution.

  • Monitor, develop, and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, measure product and process performance, and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Lead and support root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities related to product quality, process performance, customer concerns, and recurring quality issues.

  • Support customer complaint investigations by inspecting returned products, gathering relevant information, identifying potential causes, and helping coordinate timely corrective action.

  • Maintain traceability of customer and product requirements through production, final inspection, nonconformance documentation, and defect resolution.

  • Develop, document, maintain, and improve quality assurance processes, and provide employees with training and guidance on those processes.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across products and manufacturing processes, working with cross‑functional teams to improve quality, consistency, efficiency, and confidence in finished products.

  • Serve as a technical resource for applicable IPC standards and provide quality and compliance training to employees as needed.

  • Write, review, and revise quality documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process flows, control plans, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs).

  • Maintain the document control system to help ensure quality documents are current, accurate, properly controlled, and available to the employees who need them.

  • Lead and maintain the calibration system, helping ensure measurement and inspection equipment is appropriately tracked, calibrated, and documented.

  • Maintain supplier and internal chemical compliance records and supporting documentation.

  • Review supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation, identify gaps or concerns, and provide feedback to suppliers as appropriate.

  • Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation for submission to customers and support First Article Inspection (FAI) and related quality documentation requirements.

  • Partner with production, engineering, operations, suppliers, and other functional teams to identify quality risks and resolve issues before they affect customers or production performance.

  • Identify quality and compliance training needs and help coordinate appropriate training and follow‑up.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen manufacturing and business processes while supporting customer requirements for quality, delivery, and reliability.

  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization…
