Maintenance Technician

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by keeping production equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, pumps, packaging lines, and building systems, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime. You will document work in a CMMS, follow strict safety and LOTO procedures, and collaborate with production teams in a fast-paced, people-first environment that values long-term growth, training, and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Use a CMMS to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history
• Follow all safety, LOTO, and environmental procedures and standards
• Inspect equipment, identify potential failures, and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support reliable operations
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and line changeovers
