Location:
New Berlin, WI Duration: 12 months Targeted

Work Schedule:
2 days in office/week, depending on field requirements for outages and break-fix Travel:
Position will involve a significant amount of driving in the field
Responsible for the installation, monitoring, and testing of telecommunications and associated transport equipment per specifications and operational procedures.
Performs testing and diagnostic procedures on equipment according to published equipment standards to include Physical Layer and Logical Layer platforms.
Maps, grows, and/or tests transmission equipment Flash Wave, Nortel Classic, Digital Cross Connect, etc.
Maps routers, bridges, multiplexers, concentrators, etc.
Creates or performs migrations to new and existing carriers such as PVC/EVCs on various routers; utilizes remote test systems to isolate and resolve continuity problems.
Coordinates the test and turn-up of service with all involved providers until the customer's service is up and working.
