Safety-Kleen in New Berlin, WI is looking for a Production Inventory Manager to join their safety conscious team! As a Production Inventory Manager you will be responsible for maintaining supply and inventory levels for products and materials housed at distribution centers. Answer inquiries regarding order status, availability, and required dates. Provide customer information and assure that support requirements and schedules are met.
Research inventory discrepancies and make decisions within established guidelines to correct. May make recommendations to improve inventory accuracy and maintain related records and reports.

- Creates item identification labels for maintenance inventory items. Determines which items are consumable, critical or CAPX.
- Provides accurate and current inventory data for purchasing decisions.
- Works with internal employees to maintain the items and link to suppliers.
- Works with personnel to ensure that critical stock items and maintenance supplies are maintained with the appropriate item labels.
- Monitors inventory usage and makes recommendations of items to remove or add.
- Ensures periodic physical inventories are conducted.
- Reviews received goods and supplies. Ensures items are priced appropriately.
- Works with Asset managers to assist with kitting.
- Reviews reports of inventory balance and/or shortages.
- Corresponds with vendors concerning pricing for accuracy.
- Determines where to stock key critical inventory where needed based on usage and feedback from Asset managers.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Business administration. - 5-7 years experience.
- Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Strong customer service skills.
