Automotive Service Lane Manager / Dispatcher

New Bern Auto Group is seeking a Automotive Service Lane Manager / Dispatcher. The Lane Manager / Dispatcher is essential in ensuring processes are followed in the Service Lane and work is being distributed to the proper technicians.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring processes are being followed in the Service Lane
• Dispatching repair orders to the appropriate technicians
• Handling customer concerns
• Conducting weekly advisor reviews
• Leading meetings
• Active involvement in T.O.'s to provide a fresh perspective and presentation to customers
• Closing repair orders
• Assist customers in servicing, repairing and explaining each service need
• Filling in at the desk when needed
• Understanding customers' requirements and concerns; matching requirements and concerns to various service options
• Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories and attend product training as required
• Assisting in hiring
• Monitoring usage of systems
• Creating & achieving goals, for effective labor rate, ASR percentages, hours per RO, Xtime utilization Uveye, Rapid Recon etc.
• Maintaining a high customer service index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately

Qualifications

• Experience in service advising and being a top performer
• Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
• Motivated and enthusiastic
• Driver's license
• Background screening
