A Dentist is needed to provide quality care to our seniors. The ideal candidate will provide a high level of quality care blended with compassion.

This opportunity is best suited for a professional looking to supplement their existing schedule and income while serving those in need. There is flexible scheduling, and, in addition, you will be provided an assistant to handle all daily administrative responsibilities. All administrative needs, including all equipment, supplies, billing, scheduling, and more, is covered for you.

It is an independent contractor relationship where we provide the administrative services for you.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Dentist to join our mobile care team in New Bern, NC. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.

All administrative and logistical responsibilities—including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing—are fully managed by CMC. This is an independent contractor position, allowing you to focus on patient care without the burdens of running a private practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine dental exams, cleanings, extractions, and restorative procedures.
  • Diagnose and manage oral health conditions common among geriatric patients.
  • Educate patients and facility staff on proper oral hygiene and preventive practices.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety in a mobile/facility-based care environment.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
  • Active state dental license in North Carolina
  • Experience in geriatric or mobile dentistry preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse care settings.
Schedule
  • 1–2 visits per month
  • Weekday availability preferred
  • Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
