Pediatrics Physician

Pediatric Hospitalist opening:
New Bern Coastal North CarolinaAbout the Job

• Full-time
• Permanent
• 7 days on 7 days off with 24 hour/day call when working
• When working, must be within 30 minutes of hospital
• Primary responsibility is for Newborn Nursery with approximately 1000 deliveries annually.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions that affect the general well-being of neonates and pediatric patients.
• Duties include stabilization of neonates requiring NICU level care until appropriate transfer can be made.
Minimum Requirements
• Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA
• Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital
• Education:
  
  Medical degree from an accredited School of Medicine, Residency from accredited Pediatric Program
• US BC/BE
