City of New Bern is seeking a skilled Animal Control Officer to enforce local laws protecting animals and the public. You will respond to complaints, patrol for at-large animals, impound and handle reports, and supervise confinement of biting animals.
You will work under supervision of the Police Sergeant or Lieutenant, perform related duties, and engage with the community through meetings and school presentations. A driver’s license and specialized certifications are required.
