JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Quality, the Peer Review and Quality Coordinator Assistant assists in facilitating Medical Staff Peer Review, Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) functions in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards, CMS Conditions of Participation and the Medical Staff Bylaws. The Coordinator Assistant also supports hospital-wide Quality and Performance Improvement projects and Student Onboarding.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associate Degree Required or equivalent experience required
  • Experience in a healthcare related field with experience in quality management preferred
  • Three years of experience in an acute or general hospital setting preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry, terminology and standards is required
  • Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds Carolina East's Standards of Excellence.
