Description
DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Production Technician is a mid-level position involved in performing designated internal manufacturing and/or repair processes, maintaining a high level of quality and delivering projects on time.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure components and projects meet customer requirements and program costs
- Work cooperatively with the team to complete projects with proper shop practices
- Lead internal technical projects
- Identify, inspect and solve manufacturing and/or repair issues
- Use CAD models and technical data to assemble and/or repair parts
- Ensure orderliness of ship tools and equipment
- Record traveler documentation for work performed
- Assist in the development of ASI’s capabilities for manufacturing and/or repair
- Build an environment focused on quality, health and safety
- Identify training needs and establish a training program
- Assist in training and developing employees
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience
- Experience in the A&D industry
- A&P certification preferred
