At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full‑time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Outpatient Clinic in New Bern, NC. As an integral part of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work alongside a team of professionals, all committed to transforming the lives of individuals seeking assistance for substance use.
WhatYou’ll Do
The primary purpose of the nurse is to provide patients with services including screening, medication/prescription management, assisting the treatment team, treatment after‑care, and referral services. This position will provide medication and medical assistance to mental health and substance abuse clients as well as offer guidance to medical assistants. The nurse works in collaboration with other clinical professionals to facilitate positive outcomes for our clients and maintains accurate, up‑to‑date medical documentation and client medication logs.
HowYou’ll Benefit
You’ll earn a competitive salary depending on skills and experience. This full‑time position runs from 5 am to 1 pm Monday‑Friday and includes working every other weekend from 6 am to 10 am.
We also offer a full benefits package for benefits‑eligible positions.

- Prior mental health experience preferred but not required
