What You'll DoInspect and measure manufactured components to confirm quality and dimensional accuracy
Apply precision hand tools, including calipers, height gages, and other standard inspection instruments
Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to drive inspection plans
Execute dimensional inspections to validate conformance to requirements
Program and/or operate Coordinate Measuring Machines, with PC-DMIS experience strongly preferred
The Assignment
Shift: 2nd Shift – 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM Duration:
Approximately 6-month assignment with the potential to extend for the right person
What You Bring Hands-on CMM programming experience in PC-DMIS (highly preferred)
Robust background in quality inspection and metrology
Confident use of calipers and height gages with high accuracy
Proven blueprint/engineering drawing literacy (required)
Manufacturing or quality assurance exposure (preferred)
Exceptional attention to detail and consistency
Proficiencies
Quality Control Experience Precision Measurement & Hand Metrology Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement Manual Machining Skills Blueprint Reading Tools & Technologies Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
Calipers and Micrometers Compliance Must be able to meet background check and drug testing requirements
