Position Overview
This part time position is focused on providing excellent customer service, checking in DSD vendors, and maintaining documentation for proper accountability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Accurately and effectively check in DSD vendors and maintain all documents and copies for proper accountability.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to complete required training and collaborate with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must understand and use billing and accounting principles and processes.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence in English; ability to effectively present information in one‐on‐one and small group situations to customers, clients, and associates who only speak English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to calculate discounts and percentages using American currency.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, vendor receiving technical skills training, and Vendor Receiving Certification.
- Physical demands: stand, walk, use hands, reach, lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, reach from 6–72 inches; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling; requires close, color, and depth perception.
- Work environment: exposure to wet, hot, or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals; moderate noise level.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
