Role Description The Digital Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at Chevrolet of New Bern in New Bern, NC. This role focuses on engaging online leads, responding promptly to digital inquiries, and guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact to purchase or lease. The consultant will manage communication via email, phone, chat, and dealership digital platforms, providing accurate information on inventory, pricing, incentives, and financing options.
Daily activities include qualifying prospects, scheduling appointments, coordinating test drives with the showroom team, and maintaining detailed records in the CRM system. The Digital Sales Consultant collaborates with sales and finance teams to ensure a smooth customer experience and supports online marketing and promotional initiatives by providing feedback and customer insights.
Qualifications
- Strong digital communication and customer service skills, including experience handling online inquiries and virtual consultations.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, with a focus on consultative selling and building long-term customer relationships.
- Comfort with CRM systems, dealership management software, and basic data entry for tracking leads and sales activity.
- Ability to learn and explain vehicle features, financing options, and promotional programs in clear, accessible language.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.

- Prior automotive sales or retail sales experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to participate in ongoing training is essential.
