Home Sales Inspector

Overview

Home Sales Inspector role with Orkin. Conduct 360 inspections and provide termite protection recommendations. No prior industry experience required.

• Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
• Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, solving problems and building trusted relationships.
• Prospect new business and manage assigned leads.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes.
• Inspect interior and exterior of the home.
• Make recommendations based on inspection findings, explaining process and setting expectations.
• Prepare sales agreements using company-provided tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingly obtain pesticide license or certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with customers.

• Use ladder safely within weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator as needed.
• Work in various weather conditions.
