Operate tree removal equipment including chain saws and chippers in support functions.
Tree Climber/TrimmerProficient at climbing, rigging, trimming techniques, tree felling methodology, and bucket truck work. Services include pruning, thinning and dead wooding throughout the tree canopy, repairing damaged trees, removing broken limbs from roofs and other objects from A-300 pruning standards and practices.
Equipment Operator / CDL DriverProficient at operating equipment including but not limited to excavators, skid steers, bucket trucks, Class A or B CDL vehicles.
NCCO Certified Crane OperatorProficient at operating equipment including but not limited to excavators, skid steers, bucket trucks, grapple saw, truck cranes, Class A or B CDL vehicles.
Requirements- Minimum 1 year experience around chain saws
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (your own vehicle) & the ability to lift 50lbs
- Willing to assist in all job functions as a member of the crew
- Operate in a safe and proficient manner during tree trimming & removal.
- Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers and aerial lifts if necessary.
- Operate as part of a crew with supporting Ground & Foreman or stand-alone driver.
Starting pay will depend on level of ability, experience, and duties. Certifications such as Arborist, CDL, NCCO etc increase pay.
