Description

of Work

This position will assist in ensuring compliance with state/federal early intervention guidelines and helping specialized clinicians assist families with children who have special needs. The Administrative Associate II will provide core financial, client record, and administrative support to the daily operations of the Children’s Developmental Services Agency (CDSA).

Key duties include data system entry, managing of client data system records, assisting with billing and purchasing, and providing front-desk customer service.

The North Carolina Early Intervention Section (NCEIS) is a part of the Division of Child and Family Well-Being. The NCEIS is the lead agency for the NCITP which provides supports and services for families and their children, birth to three, who have developmental delays. Children's Developmental Services Agencies (CDSAs) are the local agencies that implement the NCITP across North Carolina, working with local service providers to help families help their children succeed.

This Early Intervention Service Coordinator position is located at the Craven County office of the New Bern CDSA. The New Bern CDSA serves children and families that reside in Carteret, Craven, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, and Pamlico Counties. The Division of Child and Family Well-Being focuses on supporting whole child and family health and well-being for North Carolinians. This division works to ensure that North Carolina’s children grow up safe, healthy and thriving in nurturing and resilient families and communities.

Salary Range: $31,200 -$51,249

Recruitment Range: $31,200 -$39,930
