General Definition of Work
INTERVIEWS WILL BEGIN THE WEEK OF MARCH 16, 2026
Performs responsible semi-skilled work assisting with the operation of the Aquatic Center and Spray Park; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision of the Facility Manager.

Essential Functions/Typical Tasks
Greets guest;
Collection of admission fees; operation of concession and ensures cleanliness of facility.

• Accurately processes and tracks monetary transactions to ensure proper cash handling;
• Oversees the maintenance and cleanliness of Aquatic Center and Spray Park;
• Operates concessions;
• Monitors activities in Aquatic Center and Spray Park;
• Enforces rules and regulations, policies and procedures;
• Registers participants;
• Performs related tasks as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of recreation facilities; skill and ability in cash handling; ability to enforce rules in effective, tactful and courteous manner; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, program participants and the general public.
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum age of 15.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Possession of an appropriate driver's license valid in the State of North Carolina preferred.
