Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the receiving and shipping departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: 1st (Monday
- Friday 7:30am-3:30pm) What's the Job?
  • Coordinate the movement, control, and data accuracy of materials through receiving and warehouse areas.
  • Work with purchasing to coordinate inbound transportation and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory transactions, daily audits, and CRAs to maintain accurate records.
  • Receive, verify, and deliver incoming materials, ensuring proper stock placement.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stretch wrappers safely and efficiently.
What's Needed?
  • Minimum of six (6) months of relevant work experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Good knowledge of material control duties and inventory management.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer systems.
  • Ability to operate forklift trucks and obtain necessary permits.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking, and manual tasks.
