Job Duties

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance and ability to maintain a constant state of alertness.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials.
• Knowledge of FMCSA and FAA regulations, including medical exam requirements.

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Must be licensed for the assigned vehicle.
