Shift: INSERT SHIFT HERE

Responsibilities: Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Minimum Experience: None.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance and customer‑service orientation.
• Valid driver license and compliance with FMCSA/FAA regulations.
• Medical examination in accordance with FMCSA/FAA regulations.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Proficient reading and speaking of English to understand traffic signs and instructions.

Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position that requires a neat appearance, constant alertness, and safe operation of the vehicle. Must meet FMCSA/FAA regulations and undergo a medical exam.

Part‑time position located in New Bern, NC. Employees will be required to work at the Fed Ex location five days a week.
