The Delivery Merchandiser Trainee is a fast‑paced role responsible for learning and executing daily duties of route delivery and merchandising, including stocking, facing products on shelves and displays, and managing inventory in coolers and cooling vaults. The trainee will also provide route relief and may take on a permanent route assignment when needed.

• Learn to drive a Class A CDL vehicle and obtain required licensing within 10 weeks of training start.
• Develop skills to service customers using all equipment in the delivery process, including invoicing with a handheld device and performing shift check‑in/out procedures.
• Secure company assets and inventory, and handle products safely during delivery.
• Learn and apply merchandising habits and techniques to satisfy customers and meet company standards.
• Develop good rotation practices and understand point‑of‑sale importance such as racks and shippers.
• Build and maintain product displays, product facing, and brand order while managing backroom inventory.
• Communicate customer needs and service issues to management.
• Maintain personal safety and equipment safety, following company standards, FMSA rules, DOT and Hours of Service.

High School / GED

• Valid driver’s license for your state of residency and excellent driving history (seven‑year Motor Vehicle Report).
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL), not required for hire.
• Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements.

Work environment varies, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may be non‑temperature controlled.
