The Warehouse Operations Specialist role exists to ensure the effective, stable, and optimized use of SAP S/4

HANA EWM within warehouse operations. This position serves as the primary link between operations and system functionality, driving process standardization, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, supporting end users through training and guidance, and ensuring that system processes align with operational requirements. By proactively identifying gaps, resolving issues, and supporting enhancements, the Key User helps improve productivity, accuracy, and overall warehouse performance.

Your responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP S/4

    HANA EWM within warehouse operations, supporting inbound, outbound, inventory control, and internal movements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues impacting daily operations, including HU errors, stuck warehouse tasks, delivery inconsistencies, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor system performance using EWM tools (e.g., Monitor, queues, warehouse tasks) to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact operations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity by validating transactions, correcting errors, and enforcing proper process execution across all warehouse functions.
  • Train, coach, and support warehouse associates, team leaders, and supervisors on system processes, transactions, and best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and compliant system usage across all shifts and departments.
  • Act as the liaison between warehouse operations and IT/central process teams by documenting issues, submitting tickets, and supporting system enhancements and testing.
  • Support system changes, upgrades, and implementations by participating in testing, validation, and rollout activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Analyze operational and system data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by aligning system capabilities with operational needs to improve productivity, accuracy, and throughput.
  • Support inventory control processes including bin checks, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution to maintain accurate stock levels and location integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements related to system transactions and inventory handling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your profile

  • Four-Year College (Logistics, Warehouse Operations) – Required
  • 3-5 Years Experience (Logistics, Warehouse Operations) – Required
  • Understanding productivity, quality, and service-related warehouse KPIs.
  • Understanding of SAP WM/EWM transactions, warehouse system functionality, and inventory management processes.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and material flow processes.
  • Experience managing inventory accuracy programs, cycle counting activities, discrepancy research, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to train, coach, and support employees on operational processes, system transactions, and performance expectations.
  • Travel: 10%
