Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – Telecom, Civil & Commercial Electrical Construction

Location: New Braunfels, TX (Local Candidates Preferred)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in telecom civil construction and concrete work to oversee field operations and ensure successful project delivery. This role requires a hands‑on leader with significant field experience who understands the demands of underground utilities, site development, and telecom infrastructure builds. The ideal candidate is local to the New Braunfels area and capable of managing crews, timelines, budgets, and client expectations with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of telecom civil and concrete construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to maintain project schedules
• Read and interpret construction drawings, utility plans, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards (OSHA)
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and maintain profitability targets
• Conduct site visits to oversee quality control, progress, and workforce productivity
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and internal stakeholders
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
• Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation
• Assist in estimating, bidding, and planning future projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience in telecom civil construction and/or concrete construction
• Strong field background with hands‑on experience in excavation, trenching, conduit installation, and concrete placement
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Solid understanding of telecom infrastructure (fiber, conduit systems, vaults, etc.)
• Experience working with municipalities, utility providers, and permitting processes
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, etc.)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Texas telecom markets and local municipalities
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training
• Background in estimating or cost control
• Combination of field and office work
