Veterinary Client Service Representative

Canyon Vet New Braunfels

Full-time: 4x10, rotating Saturdays

New Braunfels, TX

About You

You are a compassionate and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist with strong customer service, front desk, and client communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary hospital. You’re comfortable managing appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, check in/check out, payment processing, and practice management software while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Must have veterinary medicine experience
  • Excellent customer service and clear, professional communication
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized
  • Collaborative, dependable team player
  • Comfortable answering and routing calls on multi-line phone systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Familiar with standard office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job responsibilities
  • Answer phones; greet clients and patients
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate visit details
  • Support the check-in and check-out process to ensure a smooth client experience
  • Accurately enter client information, collect payments, and provide receipts
  • Update patient accounts as needed
  • Maintain an individual cash box and balance it at the end of each shift
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service in a positive, professional manner
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized
  • Stock pet food, retail items, and office supplies
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
