Primary
Purpose:
Facilitate the effective use of mobile devices, computers, and other technology in instructional programs district wide. Assist in the development of short‑ and long‑term plans for the integration of technology into the instructional program. Implement and coordinate technology‑focused staff development and training programs.

Apple hardware and software; curriculum design and implementation; learning technologies. - Skills:
Ability to develop and deliver technology training to adult learners; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Experience:
Minimum three years teaching experience in education; two years mobile device integration preferred; two years mobile device curriculum development preferred; three years experience working with computer hardware and instructional software applications.
- Focus on mobile device use in the district (iPads) to deliver content and integrate lessons, promoting mobile device usage in the classroom.
- Provide leadership and technical expertise to principals and teachers in planning, implementing, evaluating effective instructional technology throughout the district.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of a comprehensive staff development plan for the use of instructional technology.
- Provide staff development to teachers and administrators in methods of involving technology in the delivery of curriculum, including use of hardware and software applications.
- Analyze and evaluate the implementation of technology integration at classroom, campus and district levels.
- Model and co‑teach technology‑based lessons on computer literacy and integration.
- Share effective technical and instructional strategies with teachers for the effective use of technology in the classroom, including planning, classroom management and assessment.
- Coordinate the writing of curriculum for technology programs and monitor the instructional process in all content areas using technology.
- Disseminate information regarding current research and significant developments in technology education at the state and national level.
- Develop and implement a continuing evaluation of the instructional technology program and implement changes based on the findings.
- Design individual instructional modules, instructional materials, and training aids.
- Assist in integrating technology in the existing instructional curriculum.
- Meet with grade level teams to assist in the creation of integration lessons/projects.
- Showcase "promising practices" or excellent lesson activities on the district web page for others to access.
- Act as a liaison with district technology department personnel.
- Assist in budgeting and monitoring campus technology expenditures.
- Assist in monitoring purchase and legal use of software at the campus level.
- Assist with the organization and distribution of technology materials for classroom use.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware, software, and computer lab materials at assigned campuses.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures regarding technology issues.
- Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy in the area of instructional technology.
Mental and physical demands include prolonged computer use, repetitive hand motions, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged sitting, occasional bending, and potential travel across the district. Workers may need to work irregular hours and may be required to be on‑call 24 hours a day. Effective communication with all district personnel is required.
Job Requirements- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
$62,769 per year
