Job Summary

Teach and perform the Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Lab Science course/s which you have been appointed to teach for the particular academic semester/term.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teaches one or more subjects within the Department for the course/s which you have been appointed to teach for the particular academic semester/term – specifically in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Geology, or Astronomy
  • Prepares and delivers instruction to students, utilizing various delivery methods [including online, hybrid, as well as face-to‑face]
  • Meets classes as scheduled
  • Compiles, administers, and grades examinations and other student learning assignments
  • Reports student attendance electronically, via Brightspace or Gateway. Training to use these systems will be made available to the instructor
  • Assesses and reports student achievement validly and reliably
  • Communicates with students consistently and in a timely manner to support student engagement and learning
  • Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position does not have supervisor responsibilities.
