Through intentional mentoring and partnership with parents, the teacher shepherds students' hearts while fostering an environment of respect, accountability, and spiritual growth.
This position requires an educator who is a mature follower of Jesus Christ with a passion for teaching God's Word and investing in the lives of middle school boys. The ideal candidate is relational, organized, spiritually mature, and committed to creating a classroom where students are challenged to pursue excellence, integrity, and a growing relationship with Christ.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned.
Biblical Instruction- Prepare and teach engaging, age-appropriate Bible lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and biblical worldview.
- Guide students in developing a deeper understanding of Scripture and its application to daily living.
- Encourage spiritual disciplines such as Bible reading, prayer, worship, and service.
- Lead meaningful classroom discussions that foster biblical thinking, wisdom, and Christian character.
- Help students understand foundational Christian doctrines and develop a biblical worldview.
- Encourage students to grow in leadership, responsibility, integrity, and Christlike relationships.
- Build positive, Christ-centered relationships with students through intentional encouragement and mentorship.
- Shepherd students through the unique social, emotional, and spiritual challenges of middle school.
- Model biblical conflict resolution, grace, humility, and servant leadership.
- Foster a classroom culture of respect, accountability, compassion, and encouragement.
