GVTC is hiring its first Marketing Technologist, a builder's role at the center of how a fast-growing fiber business uses technology to acquire, retain, and grow its customers. You'll be the builder and super-user of our marketing technology stack:
Hub Spot, the Calix Engagement Cloud, Google Analytics 4, and the integrations that connect them to our data warehouse. You'll own platform configuration, attribution infrastructure, automation workflows, and the data hygiene that makes everything else work. If you're a martech professional who wants to build systems and own them end to end, this is the seat. Hybrid schedule, ongoing training, and a growing team writing the next chapter of broadband in the Texas Hill Country.
As Marketing Technologist, this individual serves as the builder and super-user of GVTC's marketing-technology stack. The role owns day-to-day administration of the Hub Spot platform and its integration with the GVTC data warehouse, as well as platform configuration and persona-schema ownership for the Calix Engagement Cloud. The role implements Google Analytics 4 measurement, attribution tracking, and conversion infrastructure across GVTC's acquisition properties;
configures A/B tests in supported platforms; and maintains data integrations, naming conventions, and platform documentation that keep the function operating cleanly. The Marketing Technologist partners closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist across Hub Spot and Calix Engagement Cloud on both acquisition and lifecycle workflow execution, and with the Web Content & Operations Specialist on tracking and form measurement. This is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports.

- Maintain Hub Spot lifecycle-stage configuration per definitions provided by the Growth, Performance & Analytics Manager.
- Conduct routine data-hygiene audits and remediation across Hub Spot CRM, lists, and contact records.
- Build and maintain workflows in both Hub Spot and the Calix Engagement Cloud supporting acquisition and lifecycle campaigns; provide platform expertise to the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist on workflow-execution requirements across both platforms.
- Implement and enforce UTM governance, campaign taxonomy, and naming standards per the standards defined by the Growth, Performance & Analytics Manager.
- Configure the Calix Engagement Cloud platform, including persona schemas, audience definitions, and channel integrations.
- Maintain persona-schema documentation, audience-definition logic, and version history for the Calix Engagement Cloud.
- Implement and maintain Google Analytics 4 across and acquisition landing experiences, including event taxonomy, conversion definitions, custom dimensions, and audience exports.
- Implement and maintain attribution tracking in supported platforms per attribution methodology defined by acquisition leadership.
- Configure conversion tracking for paid-media campaigns, including offline conversion import from CRM data back into ad platforms.
- Configure A/B tests in supported platforms based on test plans developed by the acquisition team.
- Document test configurations, outcomes, and learnings in the shared knowledge base.
- Maintain documentation for platform configurations, data flows, and integration architecture across the marketing-technology stack.
- Manage form-tracking implementation across acquisition landing pages, embedded Hub Spot forms, and any third-party form surfaces.
- Support QA protocols for all marketing-technology system changes, ensuring accurate data capture, tagging, and end-to-end functionality.
- Monitor integrations between Hub Spot, the Calix Engagement Cloud, the data warehouse, and ad platforms to ensure data flows accurately and on schedule.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting lead delivery, including form failures, integration outages, duplicate records, and data-sync delays.
- Maintain compliance with privacy regulations regarding data capture, consent tracking, and PII handling within the marketing-technology stack.
- Evaluate and recommend new marketing-technology and analytics tools as the function's partner with the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist on technical configuration and workflow execution across Hub Spot and the Calix Engagement Cloud, supporting both acquisition and lifecycle objectives.
- Partner with the Web Content & Operations Specialist on tracking implementation across web properties.
- Support the Growth, Performance & Analytics Manager in budget planning for marketing technology platforms, tools, and vendor relationships.
