Position Overview:
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of electrical projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
A Project Manager Shall:
Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring all phases from design through to installation are completed efficiently and successfully
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and scope of work, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Ensure adherence to local codes, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols
- Conduct risk assessments and resolve any project-related issues in a timely manner
- Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project status, milestones, and any potential delays
- Supervise and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and professional development
- Coordinate and work closely with the Pre-Construction/Pre-Fabrication department on all projects
Requirements and
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, design, and installation processes
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and codes
- Office and field‑based work environment
- May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project needs
- Must be able to visit construction sites and comply with all safety requirements
- Preferred
Skills:- Experience with small and large‑scale electrical projects.
- Knowledge of the electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70, NFPA 70E)
