- Operate wheel loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, forklifts, Bobcats, and sweepers.
- Load, transport, and stack raw materials using reclaimers and loaders.
- Train as a Production Assistant and assist with unloading and raw material prep.
- Maintain plant cleanliness with hand tools and assist in equipment cleaning.
- Follow all safety rules, use PPE, and exceed company safety expectations.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- MSHA certification (or ability to obtain)
- Previous cement plant or heavy equipment operation experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to operate multiple systems and vehicles
- Basic math, reading, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read tape measures and use hand tools.
Demonstrates proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, dump trucks, and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols. Possesses mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic math and troubleshooting tasks in a cement plant environment.
