Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This position will support the Infusion Department at our New Braunfels, Tx location. This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday position (8:30 am‑5 pm) with no weekends, calls, or major holidays.

Under minimal supervision, the RN provides professional nursing care for patients in accordance with national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. The RN demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental differences across age groups, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for assessment and therapeutic management, and supports the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
• Administer all medications/blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time and technique.
• Ensure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to administration of therapies where applicable.
• Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient, labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician about dosage modifications, problems and symptom management.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
• Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 0‑3 years of RN experience.
• Willing to consider an entry, mid, or senior level candidate.
• Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The work environment includes exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment.

The physical demands require a full range of motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods of time, occasional lifting and carrying items up to 40 lbs, and corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
